Reflection

Reflection 

What has been created 

In this living space of we?

What about common good, love and charity?

Taking what we need

Never looking in the eye

Of a fellow human being

Struggling to get by.

If I don’t look too close

Somehow they’ll disappear

And I won’t have to see 

myself reflected there.

  The Sun’s Litany My light Forever bright Proud and true Would surely know If he was untrue? His words a balm to Desperate ears My body only What he holds dear?
