I see you

Over there 

In the shadows 

Reaching out

With hidden heart 

Doing all

You can to be.


Gracious duty

Here is my hand

Offered late

Drifting sand.


Brave steps up 

And into you

Knowing exactly

What to do

Turn your face into my light

Cast your shadows into the night.
